Who I see here
Therapy for
Boca Raton residents
Boca combines executive-track workweeks with a lifestyle expectation of "having it all together." Telehealth quietly bypasses both. Downtown, Boca Del Mar, Broken Sound, Boca West, Old Floresta, Camino Real . sessions happen from your own space using a HIPAA-compliant video platform. Sessions are 60 minutes.
How telehealth works from Boca
Secure video,
from your space
For Boca residents, the biggest practical difference telehealth makes is the discretion it provides. You can keep therapy on your calendar without a lobby visit at a shared office building, without seeing a familiar face in the waiting room, and without carving out time to drive down Glades or across to I-95. Evening slots are available for professionals whose only real quiet hour is after 6pm. What to expect in the first session →

About the area
A note on
Boca Raton
Boca has a particular texture that shapes what people carry. Success is the ambient expectation. Homes are visible from the street. Country clubs and gated communities offer connection but also a kind of performative composure that can leave people feeling more alone in a room full of people. Good therapy pays attention to that specific loneliness, the one that isn't supposed to exist inside a comfortable life.

Urgent HelpA note on fit
Fit matters more
than convenience
Boca has a deep local bench of therapists in every specialty and price range. If a closer geographic fit or a specific therapeutic approach outside my scope would serve you better, I will happily point you toward one. Fit matters more than proximity.
Common questions
Frequently asked
about Boca Raton
How does telehealth therapy work if I live in Boca Raton?
60-minute sessions on a HIPAA-compliant video platform. You join from anywhere in Boca, downtown, Boca Del Mar, Broken Sound, or your gated community, using a browser link. No installs, works across devices, no drive across town.
Do you work with seasonal or snowbird residents?
Yes, as long as you are physically in Florida during our sessions. If you split time between Boca and another state, we can typically continue when you are here in season and pause or refer during the months you are elsewhere. Florida licensing rules require you to be located in the state at the time of session.
Do you accept insurance for Boca Raton clients?
Yes, I am in-network with Aetna, Ascension SmartHealth, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Florida Blue. Superbill provided for out-of-network reimbursement. Sliding scale available for self-pay.
Do you see FAU students, faculty, or staff?
Yes. Anyone in Florida is welcome, including the FAU community. Sessions can flex around semester rhythms, exam periods, and academic-calendar changes. If you have university-provided student health insurance, check whether it is one of the plans I am in-network with.
How do I book a first session?
Book a free 15-minute consultation through the booking page. It runs on secure video, no forms and no commitment for the intro call. If we are a fit after that, we schedule the first full 60-minute session and I send you the paperwork through SimplePractice.
Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person?
Yes, for most people. A large body of research shows that video-based therapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief work. As an LMHC I do not prescribe medication, so if a session ever surfaces something that would need medication support, I coordinate a referral to a psychiatrist or PCP.
