Who I see here

Therapy for
Jacksonville residents

Northeast Florida can be a car-heavy region . a therapy session that would otherwise be a 45-minute drive downtown becomes a 60-minute conversation from your kitchen. HIPAA-compliant video, evening slots available. Riverside, San Marco, Mandarin, the Beaches, Orange Park, St. Augustine . one practice, one Florida-wide license, no drive time.

How telehealth works from Jacksonville

Secure video,
from your space

For Northeast Florida residents, the useful thing telehealth changes is geography. The area covers roughly 1,000 square miles between the Beaches, Southside, Westside, and the Nassau/Clay/St. Johns county lines. A weekly session on video takes that map off the table. Sessions are 60 minutes on HIPAA-compliant video; evening slots are available. What to expect in the first session →

About the area

A note on
Jacksonville

Northeast Florida is stitched together from several worlds . urban Jacksonville, the Beaches communities, the growing family suburbs of St. Johns and Clay, and the Navy commands that anchor a large portion of the region's identity. People who move between those worlds day to day often carry a version of that switching into therapy, and it is worth naming.

Popular Jacksonville neighborhoods and zip codes: Riverside, San Marco, Mandarin, Ortega, Southside, the Beaches (Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach), Orange Park, St. Augustine, and greater Duval, Nassau, Clay, and St. Johns Counties. Common zips: 32202, 32204, 32207, 32209, 32210, 32217, 32218, 32224, 32250, 32257.

Not on the list? Sessions are Florida-wide via secure video, so any address in the state works.

Common questions

Frequently asked
about Jacksonville

How does telehealth work from Jacksonville and Northeast Florida?

60-minute sessions on a HIPAA-compliant video platform. Northeast Florida covers roughly 1,000 square miles between the Beaches, Southside, Westside, and the outer counties. Video takes that geography off the table.

Do you work with military families from NAS Jacksonville and NS Mayport?

Yes. I'm trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for combat and service-related trauma, reintegration support, and stress for spouses and families of active-duty personnel. I hold Military Cultural Competence Tier 1 certification, and Northeast Florida's Navy-connected community is welcome.

Do you accept insurance for Duval, Nassau, Clay, and St. Johns County clients?

Yes, I am in-network with Aetna, Ascension SmartHealth, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Florida Blue. Superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, sliding scale for self-pay clients.

Are evening sessions available for Beaches-side and Southside residents?

Yes. Evening availability is one of the practical advantages of telehealth over a downtown-office option in Northeast Florida. A 6pm session on video stays workable across seasons and life changes.

How do I book a first session?

Book a free 15-minute consultation through the booking page. It runs on secure video, no forms and no commitment for the intro call. If we are a fit after that, we schedule the first full 60-minute session and I send you the paperwork through SimplePractice.

Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person?

Yes, for most people. A large body of research shows that video-based therapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief work. As an LMHC I do not prescribe medication, so if a session ever surfaces something that would need medication support, I coordinate a referral to a psychiatrist or PCP.

Ready to talk?
Start with a free consult.

15 minutes on secure video, no forms and no commitment. The consult is a chance to check whether a Beaches-side or Southside evening rhythm actually holds week over week.
