Telehealth Therapist
in Orlando
Orlando's economy runs on hospitality, healthcare, and higher education . and on shift workers whose schedules make weekday-9-to-5 therapy nearly impossible. This telehealth practice serves Central Florida residents across those schedules, with evening availability. I'm June Pittman, MS, LMHC, licensed to see English-speaking clients anywhere in Florida.

How telehealth works from Orlando

from your space
Orlando's shift patterns are what telehealth actually solves. If your week rotates between day, swing, and night shifts, a 5:30 evening slot over video is usable in a way a downtown office visit is not. About the area
A note on
Orlando
Central Florida gets described in a few different ways . theme-park economy, healthcare corridor, university town, growing tech hub . and life in Orlando is usually shaped by a couple of those at once. That is worth naming in session, because the pace of the region and the mix of work in it directly affects how much recovery time a person actually gets.

Common questions
Frequently asked
about Orlando
How does telehealth therapy work with shift work in Orlando?
60-minute sessions on a HIPAA-compliant video platform, at times that align with your rotation. Some clients hold a consistent weekly slot; others move the slot when the schedule shifts. Both work, and both are welcome.
Are evening or off-hours sessions available for Orlando shift workers?
Yes. Evening availability is standard. Sessions can also happen from a hotel room during a convention week, a quiet break at Lake Nona, or from your car in a parked lot between commitments.
Do you accept insurance for Central Florida clients?
Yes, I am in-network with Aetna, Ascension SmartHealth, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Florida Blue. Superbill for out-of-network, sliding scale for self-pay.
Do you work with hospitality and healthcare burnout common in Orlando?
Yes. Hospitality and healthcare shift-work burnout are areas I specialize in, and Central Florida has a large workforce in both sectors. CBT-based work, paced to fit rotating schedules, is the standard approach, and clients from either industry are welcome.
How do I book a first session?
Book a free 15-minute consultation through the booking page. It runs on secure video, no forms and no commitment for the intro call. If we are a fit after that, we schedule the first full 60-minute session and I send you the paperwork through SimplePractice.
Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person?
Yes, for most people. A large body of research shows that video-based therapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief work. As an LMHC I do not prescribe medication, so if a session ever surfaces something that would need medication support, I coordinate a referral to a psychiatrist or PCP.
