Who I see here
Therapy for
Naples residents
Naples runs on a seasonal rhythm that pulls people between an in-season pace and a shoulder-season quiet. Both bring their own kinds of stress. Telehealth runs at the same steady weekly cadence whichever season it is. Sessions are 60 minutes on HIPAA-compliant video from Old Naples, Park Shore, Pelican Bay, Aqualane, Marco Island, or anywhere in-county.
How telehealth works from Naples
Secure video,
from your space
For Naples residents, the biggest thing telehealth changes is continuity. A weekly session that would otherwise be dropped during travel between Naples and a second home can stay intact on video. Sessions are on a HIPAA-compliant video platform; the connection works from Naples, from a summer address up north (as long as you remain a Florida resident during the course of care), or from a trip in between. About the area
A note on
Naples
Naples is often described as a retirement destination, but that phrase misses most of what actually happens here. Collier County has second-career professionals, seasonal workforces, generational families, and long-time locals who have watched the city change fast. Therapy work reflects that mix; it is not one type of person.
Popular Naples neighborhoods and zip codes: Old Naples, Park Shore, Pelican Bay, Aqualane Shores, Port Royal, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, and greater Collier County. Common zips: 34102, 34103, 34104, 34105, 34108, 34110, 34112, 34114, 34119, 34145.
Not on the list? Sessions are Florida-wide via secure video, so any address in the state works.
Local & crisis resources
If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (24/7, Florida-wide). For emergencies, call 911.
United Way of Collier and the Keys (2-1-1) can help with local navigation for housing, food, and mental health referrals in Collier County.
Urgent HelpA note on fit
Fit matters more
than convenience
Collier County has strong community mental health resources, including the David Lawrence Center and NAMI Collier for peer support. This practice is one option among many. If a local in-person clinician or a specialist is a better fit, I will help point you toward one.
Common questions
Frequently asked
about Naples
How does telehealth therapy work for Naples clients?
60-minute sessions on a HIPAA-compliant video platform, from Old Naples, Park Shore, Pelican Bay, Marco Island, or anywhere in Collier County. Browser link, no downloads.
Do you continue therapy for Naples clients who spend part of the year up north?
Yes. Continuity is one of the practical advantages of telehealth for Naples clients. A weekly session that used to be dropped during a summer stay at a second home can stay intact on video. The connection works from Naples, from a northern address, or from a trip in between, as long as you remain a Florida resident during the course of care.
Do you accept insurance for Collier County clients?
Yes, I am in-network with Aetna, Ascension SmartHealth, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Florida Blue. Superbill provided for out-of-network reimbursement, sliding scale available for self-pay.
Do you work with retirees and second-career professionals in Naples?
Yes. Retirement, second-career transitions, grief after loss of a spouse or peer, and identity work around a life phase change are areas I specialize in, and clients from any of those situations are welcome. Cognitive Processing Therapy is available for trauma work when relevant.
How do I book a first session?
Book a free 15-minute consultation through the booking page. It runs on secure video, no forms and no commitment for the intro call. If we are a fit after that, we schedule the first full 60-minute session and I send you the paperwork through SimplePractice.
Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person?
Yes, for most people. A large body of research shows that video-based therapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief work. As an LMHC I do not prescribe medication, so if a session ever surfaces something that would need medication support, I coordinate a referral to a psychiatrist or PCP.
